You guys have hit the nail on the head with these points.
I think the three most important things are:
- Content: Useful articles, links and references
- Viral Marketing: Attaching your name/website to all content & spreading it around
- Layout/Presentation: Easy to read, dot points, large titles, breaking down into parts or sections, layout and colouring
