Wordpress is SLOW…

I tried to publish a post an hour ago and it never went through. Wordpress basically locked up so I closed the window. I went back to my home page and noticed it was loading extremely slow.

I installed wp-cache and it helped a bit, but that’s just a temporary solution to the problem. Any other ideas on how to fix this?

my blog loads fast

Its either A your MySQL or B your Recent Readers plugin.

I don't think it's either due to the face that it's been working fine with the recent readers plugin and when I take it off it's fine. I did a fresh install using the same DB and it was slow.

I think that is because it's cached for you and I installed the wp-cache plugin. The admin area takes a good min to move from page to page.

Mine has been extremely slow also. Noticed this last night. The front-end and the back-end are taking forever to load.

I haven't had any troubles with Wordpress.

mines same speed as before and same server so dont know whats going on
