Spelling and grammar mistakes is quite a turn off. I saw someone working on his own website writing it in his native language and then turning his head to Google Translate and leave it like that which leaves his website full of crappy content.
While I agree with you that translation programs aren't the best, your comment is also grammatically incorrect. I break all kinds of rules when I write, most of the time on purpose. While I look for sites to have professionally written content, no one is perfect. That's why they put erasers on pencils.
