Old  $1000 for web use... help...

I have about $1000 or a little more I can invest in web projects, but I'm not sure how I should spend it...

I've been thinking about partnering with someone to create a new site or buying an old site but I'm not sure.

Any suggestions TF?

There's a whole bunch of things you can do with $1000. First, you need to establish what route you want to take in order to be successful. Do you want to be a blogger? Do you want to earn from PPC, affiliate marketing? May be you want to run an e-commerce website?

Answer this questions for us first, and then we can advise further.

1 Grand eh... that can go so quick... any startup site can cost a lot more than a grand and will take awhile till you see some good returns...

wish you had an existing site scenario then i had better suggestions...

If you wanna go new... buy a SOCIAL networking packaged solution that comes with everything and start off with that... it can run you 300-500... then buy some marketting $300... then do a simple design from the default template....

Try and get a bargain domain, that would be your best bet if you're looking for a quick ROI. Sites that sell for under a grand are generally not worth it for a quick ROI and if you're looking for something long term you may as well start it from scratch with zero costs. :-)

Goodluck on whatever you do though.
