Sorry I used Sams books which have every subject and say you can learn it in 24 horus but it doesn't work .

Well they just say you can learn a certain topic in 24 hours but that isn't true. You can't learn something within 24 hours....

technically the books aren'y lying. i've got teach yourself php in 24 hours, and it doesn't take anywhere close to an hour to read one chapter. maybe 20 minutes or less of reading time leaving 40 minutes for experimentation. do it 24 seperate times like over the span of a week or two, add them together = 24 hours.

it doesn't say 24 straight hours.
