  Old  Best Domain Registrar

I have a few domains I want to register, but there are so many registrars that it is hard to choose which one to use.

I have searched dnforum and wht for a while, and have a pretty good idea of which one I may go with.

I am interested in knowning which registrar that you believe is best.

Hi Karl, check this thread http://www.talkfreelance.com/showthread.php?t=313.

I would personally say registerfly.com are good. Godaddy are awful! I registered one the other day and the signup process was very long, had way too many adverts and i almost got lost

Thank you for your post Robson.

I was personally thinking about namecheap, since they seem to have pretty good reviews. I will search more on registerfly though.

I get the following after entering the dns into in the section "Transfer DNS to Webhost"

There is some problem updating the NameServers
The problem is: Updating nameservers failed. Please try again.

I hope I am doing this right.

I know people that have used godaddy and they say it's pretty rad. I have an awesome designer friend that's been in the business since before it was cool, and I trust his judgement. he says godaddy is pretty rad, but I've never registered a domain so I honestly dunno.

GoDaddy is definatley the WORST registrar ever. It took me like 2 hours to find the place to push a domain. Most smart registrars put "Push Domain to Another Account." GoDaddy puts "Transfer Domain" with the most confusing interface. Plus, transferring may make you think that you want to transfer it from another registrar. Screw GoDaddy... I got all my domains out of that mess, lol.

I agree with you x3knet, I am never completing a push from GoDaddy again. It just involves alot of clicking, activation, etc. Plus it fills up my inbox because I always end up resetting my customer #.
