You cant compare the two.

Frontpage = n00b
Dreamweaver = intermediate
Freehand = Professional

I use dreamweaver and Freehand.

I've used Frontpage when I started out but for me Dreamweaver proved better in all aspects.

I used Freehand 10 before everything else, I thought it was a paint packag back then.

Frontpage isnt the easiest to work with either. Dreamweaver is.

I always stayed clear of frontpage after all these horror stories about it. I've used dreamweaver abit but I prefer notepad over them both. A good editor is actually coffee cup editor 9.1 or something I think (not sure on latest version!) But to answer your question, dreamweaver is miles better.

to be honest you cant really compare them together imho

they both target different audiences imho. frontpage is more userfreindly. its more one click orentated. with dwmx it gives you more advanced options to what you trying to do in a more prof. way.

i just prefer to use php designer 2005. works loveley for php, js, and html etc
