What are the costs? Here in the US insurance (which is required by law) costs a lot if you are between 16-25, but most people (w/ help form parents) can afford minimum coverage.
£50 for a provisional license
£300+ for lessons
£35 theory test
£60 practical test
£1100+ insurance (rough prices)
So in total atleast $2,500, just got get on the road.
Then there's petrol, tax, MOT, general maintainance.
