  Old  What should I do?

I got a small problem here with my TFT monitor. I got it for Christmas and I've recently decided to act on a problem which I noticed a while ago, but thought nothing of it.

Basically, anything with contrast, even very slightly, repeats about 10px over to the right, if that makes sense. The worst case is when i visit live.com and I have tried to re-create what i'm seeing so you can all see it.

(thanks to img-upload.com)

What do you think I should do here? Am i being wayyy to fussy? Could it be my graphics card and nothing to do with my monitor? Can you even see it?

Thanks,

Nath.

To the right of live, the letter "e" can be seen again about 3 times but faintly. It does get extrememely annoying whilst trying to design.

You mean I'm being too fussy? I guess I could agree with that, but for the price paid it should be perfect.

Have you just used print screen? Because I'm not seeing anything wrong there...but I think I know what you mean.

Check your VGA/DVI cable before anything else, jiggle it about, try a different one. Sounds a lot like something that's happening with my spare monitor at the moment because I've got it across the room from the PC so there's a couple of extension cables. Because of this the connection isn't perfect and I get a ghosting effect on most things. Doesn't bother me though because I only use it for files and downloading.
