While I somewhat agree, you can't really say you 'know how to drive' within the first few months. The biggest thing in driving is judging what others are doing, and it can take a while to get used to all of the crazy people on the road, which would be the cause of most accidents.

Well before you take a road test, you go through a Driving School down here in New York. At least 2-3 months in driving school and then you only take a road test so you have some experience once you hit the road.

Completely true. Not that you can ever predict others though. Especially the ones with cell phones and/or really big sun glasses.

Some, very little. Drivers ed is worthless (I've never met someone who actually said it was useful) and then a few months is very little experience. It is different driving without a responsible adult because you are under no whip to be safe.

I am not saying all new drivers are bad, I am saying most are inexperienced.


Either way, thats a cool car

Lucky you! I've been driving since I was 16 years old, never had a crash or anything similar either. Mostly people used to hit my car while it was parked.
