Personally I use Blue Security's Blue Frog product. It automatically submits opt-out requests, and you even get ranked for how many spammers you report!!

A few tips to get less spam e-mails:

Don't type your emails on forums and sites like : myname@mysite.nl
Try to make it something like myname at mysite dot nl
This takes care of the email stealers

Then also if you run a business, use one email for client talk ( only your clients know these ) and some others for posting on forums and websites!

99 of 100 I got before Blue Frog went straight to my Gmail spam folder anyway, I have to admit I'm impressed with the Gmail spam filter.

same here! I tend to use gmail accounts for my public contact anyway because of their spam filter! and the ease of checking it and saving everything

I use Thunderbird as my mail client and 99% of spam is filtered out to my junk folder, and when i get a new one i just mark it as junk and all new mail similar to that is junked. Really impressed with google's ability.

Thanks for the suggestions guys and I'm surely going to ask my hosting company for a higher security spam filter.

Anyways, Blacklisters list is updated.

I'm behind a zone alarm filter, and a bitdefender filter, so i'm not really worried.
