1st CSS site: problem thread - ill have more than one.

started to think I was getting the hang of it all and now once again trying to position layers isnt working. I need to add bg images over my header and ive tried using z-index: and still the second image sits under the header.

Thanks in advance, Im sorry if I ask for help too much, but once I get this site coded then I should be pretty used of css and able to function on my own!

Instead of creating 20 threads on each problem i think ill just make this one thread and keep listing my problems.
