  Old  .PNG - Transparency?

I have a logo that will go on a tiled background, so I want in to be transparent. Is the PNG transparency going to work in most browsers? I remember a while back that no one used PNG's on the web?

Is this still the case? I can't use a .gif because of the jagged'ness

Your welcome, although, unfortunately these lead to jagged edges as stated in my original post. Hence the need for PNG's

IE 6 and below have issues with .png files; this can be fixed as long as it's not a background image with the alphaloader hack. Google it.

I've had the same problem, and did a lot of research on this.

In the end I found this solution, which I think is by far the slickest out there.

http://bjorkoy.com/past/2007/4/8/the...st_way_to_png/

Its very inobtrusive and manageable, as seems to work perfectly.

PS - its going to be incorporated into the new TF design to cope with shadows etc.
