ive been experimenting with HDR recently using my Sony A100 DSLR and stock lens. I dont have a decent tripod however so its difficult to get 3 shots that are the same.

im going to do some long exposure shots soon i think, and have some nice locations in mind similar to your waterfall shots.
Well one of the exposures is going to be a longer one so that helps out with the blurred effect.
To do HDR you are going to be needing a tripod for sure to make sure the three pictures are exactly the same.
