Old  The future of Data Entry work

Hello Guys.

I have searched on Google but watned to have more info from this forum.

What do You think about DataEntry work , for example Excel work ?
I know that at this time this is very simple work . What about future?
If this is very simple work I think in near future when computers will be more powerfull this work will be totally automated by computers. Is this right?

Can some of You share with me oppinion about this work ?

Regards , Bartek

Bartek, if you can bear to read long-form nonfiction (aka a magazine article) you might be interested in this story. It is:

Adam Davidson, "Making It In America," Atlantic Magazine (Jan/Feb 2012) http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/...-america/8844/

It's not that that all such low level jobs as data entry will soon be taken over by a machine. This is a fear people have expressed at least since the invention of the typewriter, after all. Instead, the question really is how unskilled will low-skilled jobs be? What do you need to do to prepare yourself for such work, if that's what you want to do?

Village Genius will become famous soon enough

The simpler the job the more likely it is to be outsourced. If a job can be done by someone who wants a mere fraction of what they have to pay a worker in their country, it's going out. This is happening everywhere from manufacturing to lower level engineering jobs.

I'm sure it will be performed by computers soon enough! They have even developed software that writes articles based on data:

Data entry can be bright but it is looking like just happening i mean as the other techniques are growing faster than this profession like programming language, people like to go with the advance applications now a days .
