Soulmates - Real?

I've been doing a heck of a lot of thinking lately about soulmates and partners. And we all know what happens when I think....I post it here (probably explains why I don't post much, hehe).

Do you believe in soulmates?

I've known a girl for around 2 years now, and we got on from day one. We're not into the same kind of music, or we don't dress the same. However we really do get along well. Lately we've been getting really really close. I'm very happy with it, and the wierd thing about it is. She's not my usual taste in women.

She's not some amazingly attractive girl, she doesn't dress like I do and she doesn't have a bad attitude. Then again she's not ugly, she's comfortable with who she is and she's a darling.

Is she my Soulmate?

Although Rob and I have our problems and sometimes we can be very different from eachother and don't like the same music etc, I personally believe we are soulmates, I hope I'm right or this will look incredibly stupid lol!

Wierd situation to think about really. I'm usually scared of any commitment to a woman.

You'll be fine. I was scared with Rob at first but it's good to have someone there for you all the time who loves you and who you love back and you can trust completely. It's the best feeling ever

soul mate or not she sounds like she is right for you.

You don't have to match up with someone perfectly to have a perfect relationship. My girlfriend and I are litterally opposites on every single thing--whether it be food, music, events, or even the things we watch on tv. It's all about finding someone that makes you happy.

A soul mate is actually a term that is sometimes misunderstood. Someone who is your soul mate could be with someone where the relationship causes great pain. It’s not necessarily someone who you get along with really well.

Regardless, I kind of went through the same thing through high school. After high school we lost touch. Year goes by and I run into her at a Denny's at 1:00 in the morning on some odd day where she was a waitress. Found out she had a baby (but not married).

To make a long story short. We eventually started dating, I took in her baby girl as my own and we are now married and living happily together.

Baby girl is now 4 and we have another little baby who is under 3 months. O.o never saw this happening 5 years ago.

I always shudder at the thought of not building up the nerve to confess my feelings and start a serious relationship. On the other hand I don't think fate or whatever force had its hand in those events would have had it any other way.

Love and soulmates are BS. Only lust exists. IMO! Mainly because I never plan to sacrifice anything for another person.

Looks arnt everything, well they should not be ugly but ok. I always used to go for the blonde ones and then get dumped 2 days later when they go off with somone else. Now when I see another I will just go for the original type lol.

But yeah you sound like a match to me.
