  Old  Very Simple Upload Script?

I'm launching a music site this weekend and need a way for local bands to promote samples of their work. I'm running a vB but the attachment script isn't meant for such large file sizes. I've been browsing hotscripts for a super simple upload script but I can't find one. I don't want "super cool admin panel with tons of feat0res!" ... they're all too cluttered. I just want a script (it'd be nice if it worked with vB) that can upload an mp3 to my host and then give a link. That's it. It can even be a direct link, I don't care. I have more bandwidth than I could ever use.

Anyone have a simple upload script without all the bells and whistles? (and free of course)

Can't they just use rapidshare, megaupload, yousendit, or sendspace? That way you'll save bandwidth as well.

edit: nevermind, I skipped the part where it sayed you have more then enough bandwidth.

Sorry, I wasn't much help.

they already have an attachment addon to the vBulletin but I don't think that's what you mean exactly.

No, the problem was the files I wanted to upload were huge (5mb-ish) and vB couldn't handle it. I found a simple php upload script but it couldn't handle it either =/ So I've decided to just make a public ftp ... I'll just have to moderate it carefully.

The issue probably lies in your php.ini file. Check the file upload limit.

Right. I believe the standard limit is 2MB.

  Old  Try DesignFTP

We had a similar issue with clients transferring large files to us. We didn't want files over 8MB to be sent via email and clients never understand how to use and setup FTP.

So, we created DesignFTP to allow clients to get us large files quick and easy to our FTP server. Check it out, takes a minute to signup and use. We're also working on new features.
