Old  Designing site elements in Photoshop or Dreamweaver??

Is it a good idea to design the content elements of a site in
photoshop first then import the designed content elements into Dreamweaver?? and why??

Do you recommend people like me?? to first take a C++ and Javascript coding class before starting to make flash websites??

What is a good way for me to measure the size of all the site elements
that I will be creating to use in my sites that I design?? I would
use Dreamweavers built in measuring tools but, they are so hard to understand.

Thanks!!

If your website needs to be found for any commonly used / searched phrases, then I would suggest not even bothering with a flash website. Flash has come a long way, however, its not ideal for web design in the least.

It sounds like you have little to no idea about web design (sorry if that sounds rude) You're new to this I take it?

In a nut shell flash content is limited by the little amount of SEO you can do to it when it comes to websites.

Hey Twoodson
For your first question, yes. All designs are done using photoshop first then imported to dreamweaver, however in our case, everything is still hand coded to compliment the design..

i'm having a hard time taking this as a serious post and not a spam post.

C++ and javascript course? moving past the fact neither of those have anything to do with designing elements, the 2 themselves are so far apart from each other it's laughable. and do people still make flash sites?

on topic: yes. measure twice, cut once.

Mate all design are firstly done in Photoshop and then imported to Dreamweaver.

So try to use Photoshop first as it can help you in images, designing issues.

Assuming that your site should be discovered for any regularly utilized / sought expressions, then I might infer not indeed, troubling with a glimmer site. Streak has progressed beyond anyone's expectations, then again, its not perfect for web plan at all.

It resembles you have almost no clue about web plan (sorry if that sounds discourteous) You're new to this I take it?

In a nut shell streak substance is constrained by the small measure of Seo you can do to it in terms of sites.

In outlining site, photoshop is utilized for arranging of what will be the look of the site. it is the outline or it indicate the idea of the destinations you're advancing. it is better to utilize photoshop particularly when you're proposing a layout for customer. at that point dreamweaver is much the same as notepad which you will compose the code.

Some people use Notepad++ and normally it's designing in photoshop, then you should convert layers into div's.. it's pretty simple if you know what your doing

Personally, I like GIMP because it's free. Some may not like the division into three windows (the editing window and 2 kits), but if you'll try to work for a while on this program you get used to it.

Dream weaver seems to me user-friendly always. The most advantage is the design and the code both are visible here.
