Weed: Yes or no?

Debate your opinions on weed here. Although I want to find out what people think, I'd like to clearly state here that I don't want to fight with you Animus, just to debate.

Anyway, I'm pretty much sure you know my views on this already. It's wrong, don't do it. End of. By smoking weed you are keeping drug dealers in business. Yeah you could say legalize weed, but then everyone would be walking round high and driving whilst drugged up.

I dont see anything wrong with smoking weed in moderation, but other drugs are different.

To me, its on a slightly higher level than beer.

My opinions? I'd never in all my life take it. But I'd never smoke, so smoking weed is obviously a no no for me :P

Why is weed hated? Because weed is illegal and the most common way to get high off it is by smoking it. As we all know, smoking is bad.

Why is weed illegal? Because the government makes it illegal.

Why does the government make it illegal? Because they can't make profit from it.

Also, I don't smoke cigarettes. I don't care for smoking, although thats the only way for me to get high off weed at the moment.

In the future, I plan to invest in a vaporizer.

I personally do not support smoking weed, but if it was used just to chill out, and you could be contained then I'd say why not, but you can't control everyone. As long as you don't put people in any mortal danger, than I have no problem with any people who smoke weed.

Edit// @Mr. Cheeky: Don't be so foolish, that is a statement that you cannot back without any proof. The Government makes it illegal, because it can put people in mortal danger, because they care. If you seriously think the Government is out to make your life so horrible by not letting you smoke weed, then I suggest you move elsewhere. Be thankful for the country you live in. Do I disagree with the Government a lot? Yes, but I respect it [the Government], but to say that the Government makes marijuana illegal because they can't profit from it is just immature and stupid. Your signature to me is just a way for you to say "look at me everyone I smoke weed." Just like an attention seeking 12-year-old.

As I said, the only reason I have a problem with you smoking weed is that you like to tell everyone about it. Keep it to your self and never mention it then I wouldn't have a problem with people smoking weed as long as they did it in their own home.

Weeds good for relaxing, you cant get better than being high and going to sleep.

You just get a caution were I am and sometimes the police just walk by.

And no, that's not keeping it to himself.. So? Drinking is legal and fun mate. Weed isn't. Deal with it.
