What are your computers specs? and do you know the wattage of your power supply? And have you done any upgrades on it recently?

Hmm the wattage seems fine.. though I don't know your full specs I used http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp to guestimate your wattage and I'd say you were using around 190-220w..

If it could be either of the three, get the cheapest first, then work your way through till the problem is solved so you'll waste less money..

Boot to bios and check your temps and fan rpms... Sure does sound like an overheating problem. I had the same problem about a year ago and discovered that my fan had stopped spinning altogether.

Good luck

In that case perhaps you should just remove part of the case and check xD.

This happened to my laptop - i no it aint the same as desktops... but my prob was the fan was clogged, an shut down to prevent overheatin like peoples have suggested. Which then showed me the luvly blue screen of death which scared the hell out of me.

Before you pay out for nefins... check ya fan n make sure that it is clear.
