  Old  anyone in my situation?

well I'm entering college and my parents are a little tight on money. My sis is already in college and basically handling herself through some money from parents and loans. I think I may HAVE to do webdesign/coding to make up for the lack of money.

Anyone doing the same? How are you holding up? What is the % of money that you have paid off while doing this?

my parents don't want me to get a job... which is odd I know. They want me to basically get loans up the ass and focus on school. I just saw this as an alternative.

I am in this position but I am not going to college within the next year or two. My sister is though and I have one sister already in college. And honestly, I bet my parents are more tight on money than your parents. :P

John, you have 1337 posts. And your sig also breaks the rules, 50px height minimum.

Me and my sis are a year apart, and we're both attending college at the moment

I'm getting student loans, and paying for it fully when I finish college
All kids should be paying their own way through college..
To me it just seems like the right thing to do

Chase has a loan system where you don't have to pay it off till the end of college. It probably has interest, but it looks like your only choice.

Dude, don't swear it, usually the loans are like $50 a month, nothing to worry about.

Are you serious? Your parents dont want you to have a job? That is really bizarre lol, how are you supposed to pay off the loans that they suggest you take out? Whether or not your parents like the idea, a job would be way better than taking out a loan, trust me.

Your parents dont want you to have a job?
First words I heard when I walked out of the house. "You better have a job, your not spending your free time drinking and laying around!"
