How do i check when google's spider last visited my site?

do you mean cache? Or what? because catch doesn't give any result, cache, give the last cached version of the site you ask for.

from webmaster account on google you can know exact time and date when google visited your site.

yes, you use cache:website and the date that is shown there is the last time Google cached your site. You can also check in the Google Webmaster Tools section. Just do a search for Google Webmaster tools and you will find that.

I'm not entirely sure how accurate it is myself, but I'm sure if it isn't 100% accurate, it is at least close to that.

Just setup Google webmaster tools. Its very simple to setup. Everything you need is there.

If you have Awstats you can see it under googlebot.
