What kind of computer should I get for web design?

also what programs are commonly used for web design. If the programs are from Microsoft, would there be any problem using them on a mac?Skip on the mac, they've lost their edge in the design field. Go online or get someone to build you a cheap, blazing fast PC. Preferably something with an AMD processor.
