Hey,

here is a site I created in October of 2005. It runs on WPMU, a multi-user version of the popular wordpress publishing platform. Though I never really had a love for weight loss, my sister has always been big on that kind of stuff, so I chose this niche for creating a blog hosting site.

As of 3/16/06 I have 214 Bloggers, thought alot of them are one-time sign up people. I have done some extensive back link building, and am now averaging about 20-25 unqiues a day. Revenue is pretty ugly, I think I've made about $54.00 since october, just enough to pay of hostgator costs.

I highly recommend Yahoo Ads. I get avg $1 per click and have had clicks worth 5 dollars before. Too bad I dont get enough traffic!

Erm you didn't design that? It's a template! And the bits you added such as the logo and about 2 buttons, need to go. Sorry.

It would defintely appeal to middle aged women wanting to lose weight but now you just need to get your PR up so they can find you. My mom is actually loosing weight and she is middle aged and I can tell you they hardly care about the design. I recently showed her a website I sold for $50 (.psd) and she was like who would pay that much for a website. I didnt even start to elaborate to her. Anyways the design is simple and fast loading, which thanks to John Reese that's all it needs to be.

yes it is a template called the Blix Theme. The purpose of the website is more for content and practical use then actual design.

yah break, Ive been trying to build up my PR for awhile. google is going crazy right now, so it varies between PR 0 and PR 3
