IE fix help

If you look at the navigation in firefox, and then IE, you will see that IE only covers half of the bar when you hover over a navigation item.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Try this:

a.nav {
display: block;
float: left;
color: white;
font: 11px/24px verdana;
text-decoration: none;
padding: 0 15px;
}

You may need a clear: left; somewhere after.
