That's crazy...US shouldn't even allow guns to be purchased, they're just asking for trouble. Not much is known about this tragedy yet...hopefully some answers will come out in the next few hours.

Really really shocking news, very sad for the family's. It beggers belief the mentality of some people out there.

Impluo, if you are even being half serious with a comment like that, you are a very sick person.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. People are the problem.

As a gun owner (beretta 9mm and kahr 1911 .45cal), I agree that is stupid. New Orleans allowed conceal and carry, crime went down 400%. All making guns illegal does is take them away from the good, the bad wont stop.

I dont want to make any judgements yet, because I don't know the details but I will keep everyone involved in prayer. I suggest you do the same..

I live in the UK, so I don't really get to see the whole picture, so don't scold me if you feel I sound ignorant. Over here, you get 5 years for possession, and we don't see anywhere near as much violence. If good people need guns then seriously, what can you expect from bad people.

I had never heard of this incident until a few minutes ago, you have to sympathize for the families who lost a love one today.

I also think that although guns are legal in the US, it doesn’t give people the right to shoot people as they please. I'm also from the UK and gun crime is next to none because they are illegal here. Making guns illegal in the US won’t make much of a difference in the short term, because they are so widely available and so many people have them. It may affect the crime and violence rates in the long run though.
