But if the website gets a reputation that could easily reflect on skype. Skype doesn't only appeal to a web-savvy audience so user confusion is something that could easily happen.

It is a nice domain but there are too many possibilites of skype domains (talkskype, skypechat etc) which does bring down the price.

I would say reg-$20 and a lot higher if other skype domains get snapped up
