I disagree with the death penalty mainly because people can be wrongly accused and also incarceration should be a sufficient penalty so long as the sentance is long enough for the crime that one has committed. That said I also think that people can change their ways and deserve a second chance.

But people still kill each other, so I'd say that's a fairly strong argument that we are still savages in too many ways.

EDIT: And just for the record, I agree with the death penalty. I just think it takes too long. Do like Texas, install a fast lane. I've seen many instances of publicised cases where people have killed and been sentenced to 'life' in prison who are out within ten years. And guess what? Most of them will kill again once they get out.

lol, I'd probably say the same about your views about the judical system, but I have some sense of when too attack people based on their personal belifes and when not too.
