I started using http://www.resellerzoom.com about 3 months ago, at first i was a bit sceptical as the prices seemed too good to be true. I have yet to experience any downtime, and the server load seems to be constantly under 1.
I've still got a pretty much unused account with http://www.dr2.net aswell which has been good to me for about 2 years.

i dont have a job or anything so i just look for hook ups and stuff lol. i used to host with infinium-designs, i met this guy in a chatroom and he gave me hosting for free, but their hosting was horrible. so much downtime, servers crashing all the time (in one year there was like 4 crashes and all data was lost, very frustrating), then i got free hosting from webtechtalk for selling him some templates, his hosting was better, but still had some downtime and was slow at times. right now im hosted at bigtimehosting, its not a company or anything just my friend's own server. its pretty good, downtime is very rare and speed is great.

i was going between thesitepeople and lunar pages. lunar pages had better numbers for the $$. i'll probbly end up using them with multiple projects, so TSP didn't have enough in the base packages.

I would go with lunarpages, by far a bigger and more reputable host than tsp.
