Who will be registering a .in domain?

Who is going to be snapping up a few .in's when they are released to the public domain? Anyone pre-registered any yet?

I preregistered loads with the official registrar so I have more chance of getting them
I hope I get rent.in and sex.in but I doubt it

Oh yes and news.in I could be a news site for india

would these ever be worth anything? i dont know how many people would want to buy a .in

I hope you realise how much they cost...are you tied into getting them? Because they aren't your average $6 domain!

As for their worth..that's hard to tell as they haven't been released yet. India is a developing country though and i think the top level domains (one word, dictionary such as sex.in) will be worth alot of money.

I used directi.com which is an indian registrar the official registrar of .in domains they have first say according to there site and when I searched these domains no one had preregistered them on directi.com so I think I have good chance. I have paid for the domains already but If I dont get them I get a refund.

Just thought I would let everyone know that there will be bidding for people who have preregistered the same domains.

I'm not going to pre-register any, but when they come out (February 16) I know just the domain I will register. It's obviously not something like BUSINESS.IN, but it still is a good domain. I won't post it here.. just in case someone thinks of registering it before me.

Yep, i knew that. It will be impossible to grab the top ones....sex.in, business.in etc, they will all be auctioned for a few g's.
