  Old  Local Lingerie Store Website

Doing up a storefront for a local upcoming lingerie store in my area. The client wanted a "fantasy" feel. Went for fantasy type purple and stars. A
Really after some c&c before I present please.

Still need to experiment on placement, especially for homepage and actual item layouts. Good enough effort for a friday night Any feedback is great.

Oh, client wanted it modeled after Hot Milk design http://www.hotmilklingerie.co.nz/online

I have to say, I really do like this design - you've captured the fantasy feel really well, the purple shades/stars really work well.

I like the fact it has 'depth' within the design, whilst remaining nice and simple (easy to navigate etc).

All I can say is, I'd like to see more! Have you been asked to do the sub pages etc as well?

Yea, I've been commissioned for design & development of entire website. They'll come later, I'll post the finished product in a week or so once it is done.

By the way, best open source cart? ZenCart?

Well, have you looked at Magento?

Link: http://www.magentocommerce.com/

Its really good, feature rich and just generally better than most open source software available. However, you will need good hosting, a solid grasp of php/html and a load of patience to get used to the template system.

Learning to code magento is a very useful skill - lots of agencies (here at least) are going with this option.
