Does a .us put you off a ecommerce website?
Just doing some research.
If you were purchasing some internet goods, say IPB skins, would you be put off if the TLD was .us?
Would you feel more confident using a .com?
Thanks, Andy

If it was for an ecommerce site, it would depend on the product. If it was for US flags, probably not, but if it was for IPB skins like you said, yeah.

Yes. I do not live in the US. If the ecommerce site ships worldewide they should have a .com.

In the case of virtual goods, as long as the site is prefessional I suppose the domain is inconsequential, however I definately would notice the domain extension.

So you wouldn't trust any site with a country TLD? Let's say like .qc.ca/.ca? Except for the UK one.

I full heartedly trust .ca users. Mainly for the fact that i am one of few that actually use my country TLD. Look at me, i'm not a scam.
As for others such as cjb.net, .tk, .us etc. I don't really think too high of them, but it all depends on the web presence and product. If a .us or .tk site looks good and offers a good product sure i'll do business with them, but if the site looks dodgey and so does the domain i definitely won't do business.
