I would think so, since you have to wait until the bot crawls that page and then gets to you through a link, as opposed to just crawling your page to begin with since you submitted your URL.

I also recommend using Google Sitemaps. It allows you to improve, control and monitor the way Googlebot crawls your site.

Am I right: you'll have to wait till the next update?
