Looks really good, if you want to make it a Twitter success though, go an extra mile and IS.GD the final link. Looks really good though, congrats. Let's just hope that it doesn't suck like grabup in the end.

We actually released version 1.1 tonight. Some changes include Custom Hotkey selection, Custom FTP Output URL, Is.Gd URL shrinking, and some minor tweaks.

Now i havn't tried it as i've move 99% to mac these days.
Anyways always thought an option where right click + "select my super duper upload here" as an option as default. that would be so sweet and add to the spice.
Best of luck, i did use winup for a while though it was broke and annoying atleast for me then.

Feature request. When I crop an area of my screen and before it uploads, it would be cool to be able to mark out certain points of the image I want to be focused on. Like this:
