I've already got it running on all of our hardware at work, and we're talking about some pretty non-commercial hardware here. Absolutely no problems with compatibility, or crashing, AT ALL. Only had to install drivers for Nvidia Quadro cards, and nothing else. It truly is a remarkable OS.

I'm very slow to trust Microsoft. 7 will probably be a good OS, but even good operating systems from Microsoft traditionally take eight months to a year to become fully stable.

I would agree with you entirely, given their past history, but this honestly is astonishing. I've NEVER used ANY Operating System that hasn't crashed for this long - and most of the computers at my work are 16 Core, 16gb of RAM Xeon platforms on Supermicro boards. We didn't have to install a single additional driver apart from the graphics, and everything seems to work perfectly.

Not only that, but a lot of the programs we run are extremely resource intensive for prolonged periods of time (rendering @ 100% CPU for 8 hours + at a time, in some cases), and not once have they packed up.

I've been running Windows 7 since build 7000. I have not hit into any problems with the OS--it is very stable.

Running it on my desktop and laptop. Even doing upgrade from Windows Vista. Have had no issues at all, faster and even more stable than Vista, never seen such a good Windows release to date.

Have had it for 2 months, and thoroughly am impressed with everything. Not a single problem! Best OS I have ever gotten for free! Running on all computers in my home.

Having a bit of problems with mine at the moment. For some reason it it installed as a secondary OS on the same partition as vista. I have to choose which one I want to boot into every time I start up my laptop.

Just going to reinstall it when I find the time.

Edit: There also needs to be a windows 7 compatible version of ventrilo.....program has some major audio lag issues.
