Even based on approval rating, Bush is not even the worst. There are a few that were worse than Bush, in that respect.

I believe that if Bush didn't go to war with Iraq, it's quite possible he could have wound up being one of the best. He had a 90% approval rating right after 9/11. One of the main reasons his approval dropped so much was because of the invasion of Iraq (if I remember correctly, Afghanistan was 'approved' by most citizens to find Bin Laden).

The stock market dropped because of the news of the continuing drop of sales and rise of unemployment. Nothing to do with Obama.

A very mature, factual argument. While you disagree with him, Bush is actually very smart (look at his education). Saying something that ignorant just shows you have no ability to look at things neutrally.

Bush is smarter than people take him to be, no doubt, but you can't really point at his "education" to prove that. He attended Yale and Harvard Business School, sure, but why he was accepted to these schools, I bet, has much more to do with his father's wealth and position than his intelligence.

To get in, yes, but keeping up there requires being very smart. Keep in mind that many big names go to those colleges, a governors son was nothing special.
