You really are listening to your straight legged parents that have been republicans because that's how they were brought up, if you are for McCain.

Obama is best for our country, so don't speak about him if you don't know about him. Watch a speech he does on TV etc.

I am a true republican too.

When the company is a SHOOTING RANGE, smart one, it determines A LOT!

Think about guns = people going to shooting range, no guns = no shooting range's.

One issue? This is a HUGE ISSUE smart one. Think about how many people this would effect. And yes, I am 19.

I shouldn't be allowed to vote because I said that? But you think you can because you think Arnold could be a VP? We both made accusations, think about it before you reply.

All you need to know is Democrats want to TAKE from RICH, give to POOR. Period.

Check. Mate. You no longer hold validity on this discussion. lol. And a little FYI, Alaskan governors generally have a higher approval rate on average, though her approval rating is NOT 90%, it was at 90% before sh illegally fired an official, for which she is under investigation.
It was a typo, calm the hell down. And her rating is still valid, as that does not have a effect on it.

Awesome, you are just a liberal. To radical to realize what a socialist Obama would do.

@okaymatt Senator and Governor is a huge typo. You have yet to understand I DON'T THINK ARNOLD SHOULD BE VP. I was saying CALIFORNIA based on electoral votes, seeing as we are a democratic state, it shouldn't apply to anything to McCain. I am simply saying California as an example of the electoral votes possible for him. I said you shouldn't be able to vote because from what I have seen, you are basing your vote based on her appearance and the fact that she is a female. It shouldn't matter, it should be their views that matter. I say that because it proves McCain chose her to steal from Hillarys votes.

So your saying based on peoples own opinions, they are wrong? So your stating that it's their parents that made them like McCain? This country is based on letting people vote, if you are saying that they are wrong because it's not what you want, that's wrong... I don't support McCain, but I will support the people who like his values. I think this quote fits best "I may disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

What values has McCain expressed that make you hate him? As far as I can see, he is as right winged as they come. If you are supportive of Obamas ideas, wouldn't you be considered a democrat, or would like to be a democrat?

And I am not listening to my parents, thank you! I am actually taking Government and Econ at school.

You sound like you are a socialist and big government believer, not a small government, low-tax believer, which would make you a Democrat, think your registered to the wrong party, unless we are talking pre-Ragen administration.

Not that I agree with voting for someone because they are white, black, or something like that. But if you honestly mean that, you are supporting ideals that history has always shown leads to oppression of the minority. First, the government takes away freedom from some to "keep the idiots away", they then promptly take freedom away from anyone who disagrees with them.

As much as I dont like the Democrat's policies, I would rather see a Democrat win fairly than a Republican (who I agree with in all ways) win because everyone who disagrees with him was silenced.

I'm not getting involved in McCain vs Obama, but I will defend the values of basic democracy (well constitutional republic, but you get the idea).

I don't mean we should enforce it, I just believe it's wrong if someone is voting for someone because of their race, gender, status, etc. I am not voting for Obama because he is black, I would vote for him because I support his ideas.

I said it once and I said it again: If you think that by not voting for Obama simply because of his stance on guns, and what he plans on doing, then you're a moron. That's almost akin to someone saying that they're not voting for Obama because he's black. It's stupid as ****.

So before you go further on your ****-poor mathematical equations telling me what equals what, get off the gun high-horse and give me other legitimate reasons to not vote for someone. If you're going to keep coming back here with the gun thing, don't waste your time.

And yes, I am quite smart, thanks for the compliments kiddo.

Dennis Kucinich ftw?

okaymatt: When you start saying people are wrong because of their opinions, it's time to stop talking. Just because their opinion differs from yours, doesn't mean they are wrong. Also, just a quick note on your comments about Arnold being elected VP. What makes that so wrong? Because he was an actor, or because his opinions are different than yours?

I remember you saying something about Reagan before (by the way, you misspelled it), and if you think he was a good president, then you should also know that he was an actor before he got involved in politics. How is this different than Arnold? Both were actors, even though they had different genres, which shouldn't affect their political views.

Back on topic, I'm not going to get into Obama vs. McCain, as I spent most of today talking about them. The only thing I get upset at, is that there are some people who can't wait to get Bush/Cheney out of office, but feel like McCain is a good choice for POTUS. "McSame", has voted with Bush about 90% of the time (too lazy to find source, but McCain has been pushing it a lot), so it will be a repeat (albeit worse) of the last 8 years.

I'm going to try to stay out of this from now on because I love arguing and really will get into it, and I have a lot of work to do.
