BidJam is a brand new auction website launched for 2007, unlike
traditional auctions on BidJam it's the lowest UNIQUE bid that wins!
This means you could walk away with a brand new Mini Cooper for as
little as £0.01p! Fancy getting your hands on a Nintendo Wii? It could
be yours for pennies!


There is NO catch. Unlike other "reverse auction" websites, BidJam
hides NOTHING from our players, ALL bids are available to see, meaning
BidJam is a true game of skill and winning depends entirely on you!


Although BidJam is a UK based business, we welcome players from
anywhere in the world, if you happen to win an auction, shipping is
included free of charge.


A reverse auction works like this.


1) You register for FREE http://www.bidjam.co.uk/register/


2) You purchase credits that are used to place bids on a particular
auction (bids range from 1-10 credits PER bid).


3) You place your bid in pence that you feel no one else will bid, e.g
£0.15p.


4) Near the end of the auction you place bids on OTHER users bids, thus
cancelling them out and making them non-unique.


5) The user with the lowest UNIQUE bid at the end of the auction wins
the item for the price of the bid! (UNIQUE meaning, only one bid of a
particular value)


E.G


£0.01
£0.01
£0.02 < Lowest UNIQUE bid, because there is only one instance of it.
£0.03
£0.03

Just one thing I noticed while I was looking around quickly... You can actually see what bids have been made on items...

For Example it kinda defeats the whole idea of the site...

The site looks great and looks like it could go a long way... Just needs to have a little bit more work done on it to make it so you can't see what bids have been made.

Well from what I believe that's done purposefully - it means bidders have to use wit, tactics and skill in order to win. For example, you could duplicate a bid seconds before an auction was due to end, effectivley eliminating a potential rival bidder...

I love the design, i like the idea, and i like the colors. good luck with the site
