Old  Using Digit in Domain Name

I am at a lost whether it is right to use digit or word in a domain name. For example numberonewebsite.com
or number1website.com

which one is better from the point of view of search engine?

I would do some basic keyword research on it. Do more people type it in with a digit or the number?

Better yet.... buy both domains and be safe.

Is this possible? Besides the expenditure, I do not have the time to optimize both websites.

Although it would be a very good idea to have two websites competing with one another, what I was referring to was having both domain addresses pointing to the same site, so no matter what they typed in they would be taken to your site.

I would suggest the "numberonewebsite.com" accoding to the end user point, they will hate to type "number1website"

Even they will search for " number one website" rather than "number 1 website"
