Old  Loading XML Data to Flash

Hi,

I am just new to XML and I found that it able to use it as the Data list for my Flash. But I am not sure if I have a huge Data (let said more than 100) listed in XML file and loaded to my Flash movie using XML.Load(). Would this take more times to load the data into the Flash Movie?

Take more time to load than what? I'm not sure what you're trying to compare it to, but needless to say, 100 nodes in an XML file really isn't much at all. Regardless of size, there's no reason not to use Flash's built in XML class when handling XML. Just make sure that whatever you end up using the data for, before you proceed, check that the XML file has finished loading. That can be done by using ActionScript's load event handler.

Thanks. But I do not know that if I increasing the data in the XML file, will this increase the loading time in the Flash movie when the viewer come to the site.

I have saw some Flash website that have a long waiting in loading process page and I always try to prevent this happen to my website.

If the XML file does get ridiculously large, then yes it will take Flash a while to parse the entire file. But it wouldn't be dramatic increase unless your XML file was nearing 50MB.
