hmm yeh so 175 members have never posted... well maybe we could find a way to encourage them to...?

I always try new ways to encourage members to post, alot of the first registrations (way back in July last year) have changed their e-mails and don't even receive the mail shots we send out, so have essentially forgot about this place.
However, recently more older members have been posting. One member who was one of the first to register posted for the first time last week! This is a decent ratio, close to 70% active. Check out yaxay.com, they have 9,000 members yet only 4,500 have actually posted! Even worse, daniweb.com, they have close to 30,000 members and 9,000 or so have posted!
I have a few methods up my sleeve and when i get a chance i will be trying to encourage more participation
