  Old  Under 18 Loans?

Basically, i want to buy a car by the end of the week (Saxo, 1.1 Injected) I'm only 17 so i'm looking for a nice clean car to start off with, i can afford to keep it, but it's not that often a nice one comes up and i would really love to get it. The thing is i don't often get a grand on the spot thus why i need to borrow some and pay it back monthly.. I just wondered if anyone knew any Loan companies that were willing to pay out £1,000 to an under 18?

Please don't flame.. i'm only asking. If i could i would do work to get the £1,000, but like i said it's not to often a gorgeous car like this comes up for a good price. Plus i don't have time.

So if anyone knows of any loan sharks or out please give me a shout

I could definately pay an extra 15% interest on top. Even if they are willing to supply small amounts of money, it will definately be greatful.

Any details / contact information you want please ask my and i'll happily provide it.

thanks a lot,

Jamie

Ask your parents to get out a loan in their name.

I get some letter every so often offering £500 for 16-18s but the interest rate is astonishingly high, like 5% a month or something stupid. (btw I don't remember the company name)

Edit: you can get a loan for any amount

If you can't afford the £1k now for the car I really doubt he could afford insurance for a 1.6l, especially when saxos cost more to insure for being saxos.

Unfortunetly, i probably won't get insured for a VTR / VTS, otherwise i would save up even more to get one, seeing as this car is sweet and a 1.1 injection + decent sound system + lexus lights (even though they are quite over used now a days xD).

It's also been well looked after, R reg, one previous owner etc. I know it's been looked after seeing as he's a friend and he wants to get a new VTR.

Thanks for the comments guys and RossJJ if you do get the Company name, please give me a shout, thanks man.

Cheers,

Jamie

Expect to pay the interest for a loan for your age group. With no property available for collateral it's obviously going to be an unsecured loan and thus your interest will be sky high. The best thing to do at your age is to borrow the money from a friend or family member.

Thanks for the comment, but i really don't mind paying a lot of interest (as long as it's not to high) because it's such a great car and i could afford it monthly, but the car has popped up for a good price and i don't have a grand spare. If he would accept the payments monthly then yeah i could easily get it now, but he needs this grand to go towards his VTR.

Saxo's are group 2, you're more likely to be paying more insurance. Go to your local bank and ask a cashier there more about getting a loan. Or simply ask your parents.

Cant you ask the seller if you can pay for it monthly ? :P
