Not bad. Seems a little plain tho. Text on the home page is a little meh and the lighter outer border of the Menu is a little dodgy. You should have showed the hover of the Menu aswell.

Way too dark here on my work CRT. I can just barely make out the shading for the navigation bar. Might have something to do with my calibration... but this gives an idea what your typical visitor would see.

I agree with Jeff, very dark. You have to think of the visitors point of view, you don't want them going a metre back from there desktop to see something on your website. Make it brighter somehow and be more creative. Just now it's only really 2 boxes with an outline and some text. Move things around and see how it looks, add more, maybe even a little box to show one or two of your recent works rather than just a link directing you to your portfolio. Think of what a visitor wants to see

Hope this advice will help you a bit
