FreelanceLocalTech.com is a web directory of freelance technical consultants organized so that clients can easily locate and contact a local consultant. It's USA-only right now, but I'm working on bringing Canada online in the next 2 months and UK a few months later. Posting a consultant listing is free; posting a client need is free.
Basic consultant listings are shown in every city within 30 miles of the consultant's location. Right now for anyone just coming to the site, we're giving away a 2-month 60-mile upgrade; the upgrade quadruples the territory in which a consultant is seen.
We're at 45 new consultants for July and our goal is 65 new consultants by the end of the month. I want to hit the goal, so....
Ok, now the offer just for TFL members: between now and 11:59 pm EDT on July 31, any TFL member who registers their
USA-based freelance consulting business on FreelanceLocalTech will receive a 2-month
90-mile upgrade (9x the basic listing territory area) for free.
How will I know it's you? After posting your profile, come back to this thread and post a response that gives the name of the company you used in your listing. That's all you need to do to get the upgrade.
If you're not in the USA, sorry, but we can't handle you just now. Nothing personal, just some technical things to work out. Also, we have guidelines for posting consultant listings, so please be sure to post a good professional listing for your business.

Come back to this thread and post the name of your business.
And (on approval of the listing) you'll get a free 90-mile territory upgrade for 2 months instead of the 60-mile upgrade we're giving away to everyone else.
