Promoting Proxies

What methods would you use when you promote a proxy site, I haven't really used any at all apart from telling a few friends and putting it on proxy.org - somehow after 3 days I'm at 1000 uniques already (1k uniques daily). If the my site can be such a success with little promotion what techniques shall I use to make my site even more popular?

I reccomend www.adengage.com I got a link on a site for $1 for 1 day and received 234 uniques from it, great value for money!
Aside from that posters in schools etc.

How would you get a poster in school? If schools block sites why would they let me put up a poster?

I'd like to ask you something. What is your profit from proxy site?
