That is lower right, not lower left

Make sure you have plenty of space around for the fans, and the hdd+cables are all connected well.

thanks for the help... but what about the freezing? the 360 sits on my desk

What will happen is you will get the 3 red lights freezing is the 1st step then it wont turn on at all. Contact M$ and tell them and get it sorted.

wil do so after school.. but its strange it freezes for 360 games but works fine for non 360 games.. any ideas?

Nope never happened to me that. Although when playing my cod3 it keep crashing then when i turn it on i had the 3 red lights and nothing at all happened but that lol.

Disconnect your hard drive from your 360 and see if it runs fine without it. People had problems with that at launch and since you are having hard drive problems your 360 might be the same. But then you have the problem of not being able to save. :/

What is the MFR Date for your 360? (it'll say it above the A\V on the back of your console)
