rlevant makes some good points.

I agree, most of those aren't stupid questions, they are questions coming from POTENTIAL clients that are uneducated in our business. The problem, or maybe why we call them stupid, is the manner in which they are aksed. In my experience when these questions are asked they come from people with $250 that want a $10,000 web site, or, a big company representative that is used to getting their way because they have money to throw at something.

In both cases, when you give them an honest answer (God forbid you tell them it can't be done on their budget or because of technical issues) they get mad.

Overall, these are the things you have to deal with as much as it makes us cringe.
