i think that the americans should STFU about gas until they pay 6.50 gallon like the rest of the world, or stop driving tanks.

None of them work yet lol, just a little pre-release advert.
Lets keep it on topic, i don't want to hijack the thread.

Gas up here in Canada is around 1.13 CAD per litre.
Which according to my calculations is: 3.72 USD per US gallon and 2.55 (GBP) per UK gallon.

Such an ignorant comment. You have to factor in the cost of living and the previous history of gas prices. The norm. in around 1998 was around 60-70 cents per litre here in Canada, now we're paying 1.13+ (remember this is only spring, not really driving season), that is a major hike.

I always thought that Canadian dollars were worth a little less than US dollars. For instance, a book that costs 25 Canadian dollars costs like 22 USD? or something like that. That was a few years ago (the last time I was in Canada). Has the US dollar been devalued that much?

Gas is like $2.70 here in Iowa. That's a lot. It adds up fast.

northpark, sniper101:

Things are tough all over. Gas has gotten as high as nearly 4.00 here. When only a short time ago (before all this war on terror b.s.), gas was like $1.30. I don't care who you are, if something you use everyday triples in cost, you are going to complain.
I'm sorry that you feel you have it worse, but like I said, things are tough all over.

Here it's around $2.50 a gallon... When i first got here it was $1.50 a gallon. But I still don't mind, being English I'm used to paying up to $8 a gallon, so it still gives me a laugh when people moan about the $3 gallon being just around the corner.

Also, being English, I naturally chose a car with fairly good gas mileage - 25-35mpg.

It used to cost me $90 to fill my tank in my Alfa Romeo in England and here it costs me $25.

while that maybe true In My Opinion paying around 3 dollars for a gallon isnt much for me, because I am used to paying it.

I am sorry if my comment seemed degrogatory or offensive in anyway, it came out a little differently than I thought it.
