Hey guys check out a new application that I recently launched. It gives useful and fun information about various dates including various counters and calculators. Hope you like it.

it would be a lot more fun to jump to today's date info rather than having to pick a date first.. makes me not want to pick a date and move on since there isn't much there to do anyway. looks great though.

you know what, i thought it was a "what happened on this date" sort of thing.. which btw might be interesting to add in future versions.

Yes that would be an interesting feature which I might add in the future. I didn't really plan on building this website. I was building a function and that kinda' got transformed into this.

i think you need to take it to the next level. what about a database of interesting upcoming dates? user submitted maybe?

this also has huge potential in promoting events and selling advertisement.

You know what, that's an excellent idea. If I have time over the summer I might do what you have suggested. Time is the issue for me.

I'm actually planning on selling it. I just don't have the time and it was because I had time that this idea was conceived and produced. I was working on a project where we had to find difference between two dates with the option of excluding certain days (i.e. weekends) and the site is pretty much a mash up of things I thought would be interesting.

I have to say that your input is highly appreciated and so thank you very very much.

I think it's nice, but I don't see the point in it exactly - could you explain a hypothetical situation in which it would be usefu;?

Well this isn't a hypothetical situation but I will tell you situations, particularly my story that "inspired" me to make this site.

My and my mom were talking and she said she forgot the day I was born. Knowing programming, I was quickly able to give her the exact day (Sun-Sat), day of the year, and what week of the year my birthday was. The site's for people who are curious about similar information. Additionally I was working on a project where date calculation between two dates was important so the practicality of this website cannot be described as being one that only works hypothetical scenarios.
