As most have said mate look at others work for ideas/inspiration then change it up add in your own twists/styles and make it your own. Also reading tutorials on different aspects of the program your using is good idea like for Photoshop read some tutorials on how to make signatures and large pieces got some good techniques/methods to use when making a web design
